About Us
Mending Broken Wings was born from the story of transformation from pain and confusion to purpose and revival. Founded by Jake and Megan Tjapkes, our mission flows from their personal journey of Jakes adoptions, redemption, and restored identity in Christ.
Our nonprofit unites leaders, churches, and families to rebuild the foster care system through identity-focused coaching, FASD awareness, and family mentorship.
